Well, We're Back!

Our return trip from Arizona was relatively uneventful. Our luggage even went on the same plane as we did.

Had a little trouble at the Sea-Tac end though. My suitcase never came out of the tunnel. After all the other bags came onto the carosel and their owners took them away, there was only one left going around. I knew it wasn't mine because the tag on it was not the same as the one I had just put on it for the trip.

I figured that, just like the last time, the airline had messed up. We went to the luggage window and a very nice lady came out and showed me how the tag I had put on was covered up by the tag that came with the bag (which I was sure I had removed just to avoid this exact problem.)

Anyway, Rick picked us up and took us home. It's really nice to go visit Gandgg but it was nice to get back to my own bed, my own big TV, and my own car, too.

About the continuing saga or my missing voice: You may recall that I had a nerve conduction test on my right vocal cord in December. All we know about the results is that it was "not what they expected" and that I needed an MRI of my head "to see if anything is going on in there." I had an appointment last Tuesday to find out about that but the VA hadn't got around to authorizing the appointment so UW called earlier in the day and cancelled the appointment.

  1. So they tell you the results are 'not what we expected' and cancel your appt. Wow. So we'll assume no news is good news?
You should come over tomorrow with mom to hang out. I won't even put you to work!
